It's Monday...

Well I'm 17 weeks along! We go in for the next appointment on Thursday, I'm hoping Boomer will cooperate and theta us see if it's a boy or girl. The past week or so has been a huge challenge! Jericho hurt his back at work and hasn't been able to move at all, so there have been A LOT of Dr appointments, ER trips and helping him with things he can't do. Then this past weekend, Grandma was taken to the hospital so I've been going up there after I get off work. I'm exhausted and very much looking forward to my vacation that starts on Thursday!! As far as Boomer goes, its been moving around a lot. I have to pee pretty frequently now, mostly just at night when I want to sleep :-) the breathlessness has let up a little but now I can't bend over without it feeling like I'm squishing everything, not a fan!! Lol!

Boomers New Bed!

A gift from Granddaddy Steven!

Random Thursday...

Only 2 weeks until my Dr. Appointment!

I weighed myself this morning and...I lost 7 lbs. Don't really think I was supposed to do that. But I figure that I have some to lose and my eating habits have changed. I may have revved up my metabolism (here's hoping). Plus, I know Boomer is growing because he's poking out my tummy.

While I was at work to do I got a message from my Father-in-law...he said he got the crib I had on my wish list!! So excited! When he was in town last weekend we were looking at baby stuff and he asked me to email him a picture of the crib I had picked out. Today he called and said he bought it!

I have a new weird symptom...not being able to breath! I did a little research and found out it's pretty common, apparently some pregnant women get fluid in their lungs. I will be asking my Dr. about ways to help this, any suggestions?

Baby Boomer at 11 weeks!

Published with Blogger-droid v1.6.7

This was from my last Dr. Appointment, It just took me a little while to figure out how to get it from my phone to my blog...

Week 15 update.

So apparently I suck at blogging!

It's been an interesting month. The morning sickness is letting up, the baby is comfortable again and I've found my limits as far as what I can lift and when I need to rest. I had the flu last week which was horrible! I didn't realize how much my stomach muscles could hurt.

J and I started up our gym membership again, I was a little reluctant because I'm supposed to stick with the lower impact but then when I thought about it I decided the pool would be great! I got the schedule for the water aerobics, I'm pretty sure it'll be a bunch of older women but who cares it'll be something different.

Other then that, I'm excited at the possibility of finding out if Boomer is Pink or Blue :-) we'll have another look on the 24th. I'll be between 17 & 18 weeks so there is a good chance we'll find out. Then I can get started on "nesting"!

On the 24th they are also going to test me for gestational diabetes. My Dr said I am at a higher risk because of my family history (thanks mom!). Hoping it all turns out good, i've been watching  what I eat and keeping the sugar intake low.

its been a while...

Let me catch you up for the past few weeks. I've been REALLY sick almost every day, we've kind of decided on a name for a boy, J doesn't really like my girl name. He came to the conclusion that is didn't matter because its a boy. Yesterday I went to Motherhood and bought the most comfortable pair of pants I've EVER put on! AND they look good! I was a little worried about maternity pants feeling like giant PJ's but they look like they were made for me.

Speaking of pants, the other day I sat down and my buttons were pushing in on my lower stomach and I could feel Boomer moving! Weirdest feeling ever! It actually started to make me feel motion sick if that makes any sense at all.

I'm now starting to compile my lists of things I'll need and things I want for little Boomers arrival. I know I'll get a lot of items at my showers but that's usually the items like bottles, clothes, bibs, blankets... I figure if I spread the bigger things out over the next 6 months it wont be such a shock to my budget! And I came up this a diaper plan, I'm going to buy a case each month starting with the size above newborn ( I highly doubt Boomer will be in newborns for long) then I'll tape the receipt to the box invade Boomer has a skin allergy or whatever else could possibly happen where I would need to return them.

I have my appointment on Tuesday. I have VERY mixed emotions about it. I'm excited about the ultrasound, I am NOT looking forward to the exam and drawing blood! We'll see, so far I'm not having a nervous attack like I usually do when I think about it. I'm sure Tuesday morning will be a whole new story.

Sorry of there are weird words in this post, I'm posting from my phone and I have the touch screen typing.
