Guess what, I'm pregnant! I've decided a blog will be a great way for me to journal this very new experience and it will also keep anyone that wants to be in the loop, in the loop! PS "Boomer" is the name Jericho always joked about naming his child.

Jericho and I went to our first Dr. Appointment today. Got both good news and bad, good news is everything is going great! Bad news is giving birth is expensive!! They ran my insurance and told me what I owe, OMG! Thank goodness I have insurance! I also found out that my body does not like to pee when it needs to, funny how at every other moment in the day i have to use the bathroom and then all of a sudden I can't go! Anyways, my next appointment is February 8th! They said I'll get to hear the heart beat at that appointment!
They think they're SO special!!
This morning I called to make an appointment, you would think you could just call the number and they'd ask for your info, insurance and when and what you want the appointment for. NOPE! I called, got transferred 5 times! Ended up with a clinic in Temple, didn't want that, so I called this other place here in Killeen and finally found a women that may have just felt sorry for me BUT I have an appointment! AND its with a Dr. That I've heard VERY good things about! So now I'm excited about that stress being over, now I have the stress of the needles! It makes my heart race just thinking about it! Anyways in other news, yesterday while I was at work I threw up out of no where! Weirdest thing EVER! Thank God I was in the lobby and close to the bathroom! I Lso told Will (my fellow manager) who I think was more excited than my husband was when I told him! Will has a few kids of his own and he's great with them, so I'm sure he'll be a great resource through this experience. Well, I need to go get ready for my appointment!

It's Christmas Day!
Well last night when we opened our "Christmas Elf" pj's we told Jericho's family. Jericho had already bought a really nice Christmas card for his Dad and in the bottom he wrote something about him being a Grandpa, it was cute! Grandaddy Steven looks at me with a smile and walks across the living room to give me a hug, then he showed Melinda and Charity. I think Charitys reaction was the cutest, she reads it and then looks at me to confirm what she just read and then she said something about how she knew I would get pregnant because she's been here for all of the grandkids. Some how Aaron missed the whole conversation about he and Nathan being uncles and a few minutes later when he caught on he started laughing. So now most of J's family knows. I told my Mom yesterday also, she seemed to be both excited and sad at the same time. It's not going to be easy for her to be a long distance Grandma. Jericho is pretty excited and has decided that it is a boy! I'm sure I'll get to hear about that for the next 2 months or so until we find out the sex! I think it's pretty cute! He's been paying more attention to me since he got the news so hopefully that will continue through the next months and he'll be understanding when I have my bitchy moments :-) as for me, it still hasn't hit me that I'm preggers, well except for the fact that I'm hungry 15 minutes after I eat, my lower back is sore, I can't have a drink and I have to pee ALOT!! So now I'm faced with the task of finding a good OBGYN, deciding which hospital to use and making sure I'm taking care of myself. As of right now I don't really have a preference for a boy or girl, just praying it's not twins!
